I feel like there was almost too much to wrap ...Ok. I feel like there was almost too much to wrap my head around in this one. While I did enjoy the challenge, I feel that it was a selection that I couldn't dedicate enough time to with everything else going on in my life. P.S. Love the fun facts about your bf and mother! <br /><br />I will say that it's probably been my least favorite of my Atwood reads (I finished most of Cat's Eye before losing it but remember LOVING it). The historical aspect was new.<br /><br />It's interesting that you bring up the fact that nothing is what it seems because I frequently was confused as to whether dream sequences were, in fact, dream sequences, or episodes of sleep walking, or a combination of both. <br />I think that the it wasn't as heated because Grace, as a whole, is so calm and collected because it's been so long since the events took place. She seems almost submissive for most of the book and doesn't seem to get excited about too much. <br /><br />Glad we all participated together even if we were all so incredibly busy!Bethhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05572049077903171939noreply@blogger.com
