I've been trying to fight off the temptation to buy a kindle. Sadly, it's one of the easiest ways for me to get books written in English here in France. On the plus side, I just received a care package from my mother – four new books just in!
Not mine! I have to feel the weight of the book in my hand and be able to thumb through the pages. You can't do that on a Kindle or Nook. I'll probably break down at some point and purchase one; but my books aren't going anywhere!
Even in its absurdity, I think the cartoonist is taking a jab at the digitization of books.
Not in my house!
ReplyDeleteWow - that's a little a little scary! I hope it doesn't end up that way!
ReplyDeleteWhahahaha! Scary, but funny! Says the Nook reader. ;)
ReplyDeleteCrikey! That is frightening to think about - AHHH! I can definitely see this happening with the way things are going. Yikes!
